Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python and TypeScript backend systems supporting customer funding and trading.
- Lead development teams through coding best practices, code reviews, mentoring, and adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Own the quality, uptime, resilience, and full lifecycle delivery of software from design through iteration.
- Collaborate with finance, treasury, new accounts, and trading teams on algorithms and tools for back-office operations.
- Implement monitoring and logging using observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry.
- Review code for consistency, correctness, and sound architecture.
- Streamline operational processes, reduce manual intervention, and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay current with Python, TypeScript, and retail trading technology advancements.
Requirements
- BA or MS degree in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of software development experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining real-time applications.
- Proven Python and TypeScript development experience focused on backend systems.
- Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems and cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong accuracy, analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and change-management skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as code generation, static analysis, or automated test synthesis in production environments.
- Ability to own projects from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Preferred experience includes work at an FCM, clearing firm, or broker-dealer; CME clearing, GMI, FIS, treasury, money movement, regulated-finance modernization, futures, derivatives, or trading technology.

- Salary range of $140,000–$190,000 plus a 10% annual target bonus.
