Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of enterprise-scale cloud platform programmes and AI-native infrastructure across Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake.
- Architect cloud environments for the compute, networking, storage, security, and operational requirements of GenAI, ML, and agentic workloads.
- Implement AIOps capabilities including intelligent monitoring, automated incident detection and response, and self-healing infrastructure.
- Design and deliver CI/CD platforms with AI-assisted deployment pipelines, automated testing, and operational automation.
- Establish and govern Infrastructure as Code practices, including AI-assisted code generation and review.
- Lead platform security, networking, compliance engineering, policy-as-code, automated governance, and security scanning.
- Design for resilience, FinOps, performance optimization, telemetry, and observability.
- Develop agentic operations patterns and guide teams in building and governing autonomous and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Mentor platform engineering teams, set technical standards, and promote continuous improvement.
- Contribute to propositions, bids, accelerators, and reusable platform assets for future client engagements.
Requirements
- Significant experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud platforms using one or more of Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, or similar tools, including AI-assisted IaC generation and governance.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD platforms with AI-assisted deployment and test automation.
- Experience with AIOps, platform observability, intelligent monitoring, self-healing infrastructure, or autonomously managed platform capabilities.
- Experience in cloud security, networking, identity and access management, and policy-as-code engineering.
- Proven ability to design production environments for GenAI, ML, and agentic workloads.
- Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams, setting technical direction, and driving high-quality delivery.
- Familiarity with agentic AI patterns and their implications for platform design, operations, and governance.
- Hands-on experience with agentic platform capabilities or AI-driven autonomous operations in production is advantageous.
- Cloud FinOps leadership, enterprise cost optimization, commercial proposition or bid experience, and platform governance experience are advantageous.
- Relevant advanced cloud, AI platform, machine learning, or AI practitioner certifications are advantageous, including AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional ML Engineer, Databricks Generative AI Engineer, Anthropic Claude Certified Architect, Microsoft Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect, or AI Agent Builder Associate.
