Responsibilities
- Collaborate with systems architects, software team leads, and developers to design, develop, and deploy technical solutions.
- Analyze complex information and develop and troubleshoot database applications.
- Prepare and document technical, program, subsystem, and system designs, task descriptions, and effort estimates.
- Perform new development, maintenance fixes, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
- Develop, review, and document automated and manual unit and integration testing plans and complete pre-production testing.
- Support other teams with application troubleshooting across production, quality assurance, and other environments.
- Mentor software developers and IT staff and document system problem resolutions and system requirements.
- Provide project-team leadership and work with system architects to review and approve program and subsystem designs.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience with Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, advanced Java concepts, and Oracle.
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux and Microsoft Windows distributed computing.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, API design, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, relational database principles, and SQL.
- Experience using a Java IDE, preferably IntelliJ IDEA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work with product analysts, QA, UAT, development, and PMO members.
