Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to architect new products and define effective iOS mobile experiences.
- Provide iOS expertise and improve development practices, design patterns, deployment processes, and customer experience.
- Partner with product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders on initiatives aligned with business priorities and KPIs.
- Design and implement clean, readable, reusable code for app features, components, and integrations.
- Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, including code reviews, planning, demos, and other engineering practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends for potential use in the Credit Genie product suite.
- Mentor and develop other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional mobile development experience.
- Proficiency in Swift, including Swift 6.
- Deep understanding of mobile app UX best practices.
- Experience leading large-scale projects and partnering directly with product, marketing, and engineering teams in a highly iterative environment.
- Ability to propose, refine, implement, and update UX and product solutions based on customer needs.
- Experience translating design mocks, including Figma files, into iOS applications using Swift.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferred experience with personal finance management products.
- Preferred understanding of UX design concepts, design languages, systems, principles, and processes.
- Preferred familiarity with Figma, InVision, Origami, or Sketch.
- Preferred ability to maintain a style guide, SwiftUI, and brand.
- Preferred familiarity with consumer credit risk and the customer life cycle.
