Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Build cloud applications and platform capabilities for customers and colleagues using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop GenAI and LLM-powered solutions using LLM APIs, prompt building, RAG patterns, embeddings, and agentic AI frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and integrate solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, unit testing, and continuous improvement.
- Apply secure coding practices, risk controls, access controls, and AI safety measures such as protection against prompt injection and inappropriate PII handling.
- Contribute to observability, infrastructure as code, containerization, and reliable software delivery practices.
- Advise stakeholders and influence technical decisions within the area of expertise.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience building applications at scale on cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Python preferred, or Java or Go, including REST APIs, asynchronous frameworks, and clean, testable code.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM development, including calling LLM APIs, prompt building, RAG patterns, and embeddings.
- Experience with an agentic AI framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, or Google ADK.
- Basic Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, scalable design, maintainable code, unit testing, and secure coding.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex information, solve technical problems, and take responsibility for outcomes.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing, OPA/Rego or access control systems, AI safety, CloudFormation or Terraform, and GitOps workflows is highly valued.
