Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain core Linux platform support for Unity.
  • Investigate and resolve bug reports to ensure platform stability.
  • Use automated testing and code reviews to strengthen software quality and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Product, Program Management, Engineering, and QA teams on new engine features for Linux platforms.
  • Contribute to other platforms supported by Unity as opportunities arise.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with C++ development and software engineering.
  • Experience developing on Linux desktop distributions.
  • Ability to debug, diagnose, and solve problems throughout a codebase.
  • Understanding of profiling and optimization methods.
  • Preferred: experience with SteamOS, Unity, C#, or automated testing.
