Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and ship commercially available APIs and data feeds.
- Build interactive user interfaces and data visualizations using TypeScript and React.
- Manage infrastructure for reliability, scalability, and security.
- Define technical strategy and contribute to the product roadmap with the founding team.
- Collaborate with product and data analytics teams on customer-facing functionality.
- Establish coding, testing, and deployment standards.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and make architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building software, ideally including startup or fast-paced environments and end-to-end feature ownership.
- Strong backend development skills with Node, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Express.js.
- Experience shipping commercially available APIs designed for reliability and scale.
- Strong SQL optimization skills and ability to reason about data models at scale.
- Frontend proficiency, ideally with React, including interactive user interfaces and data visualizations.
- Fluency with AI models, LLMs, and agentic coding tools.
- Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, and take ownership of architecture decisions.
- Experience developing an MCP server, building and evaluating production AI systems, or working with real-time applications and WebSockets is a differentiator.
- Startup, high-growth company, financial services, or market research experience is a differentiator.
