Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and optimization of media software, including high-performance network transport, speech codecs, and AI-based video and audio analysis.
- Build and integrate AI tools and agent workflows for transcription, object and event detection, and semantic video search.
- Measure and improve software performance and efficiency on Intel CPUs, GPUs, and Ethernet NICs.
- Improve software quality through test automation, conformance testing, performance testing, fuzzing, and CI pipelines.
- Contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with internal product teams and external partners.
- Learn new skills and apply them to advance projects aligned with Intel’s business objectives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Comfortable working with C, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, including command-line use and building and debugging software.
- Understanding of code reviews, CI, test automation, and AI-assisted programming, including tools such as GitHub Actions workflows.
- Basic knowledge of server and networking hardware, including servers, network cards, switches, and cabling, with willingness to set up lab equipment.
- Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
- Preferred qualifications include C++ experience, GitHub Actions workflow development and debugging, lab or homelab experience, media technology exposure, high-performance networking experience, and experience with computer vision, speech recognition, or LLM-based agents.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate with cross-functional teams, solve unfamiliar problems persistently, and execute detailed work in a disciplined manner.

- Minimum annual base salary of 68 880,00 zł in Poland, with potential additional pay components and benefits.
