Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software and algorithms.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve coding practices, software applications, and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle knowledge and contribute to secure, stable, scalable, and operationally resilient technology solutions.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, security expectations, and the ability to guide peers.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and secure, resilient engineering practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
