Responsibilities
- Architect and implement large language models and neural network strategies for natural language processing.
- Develop scalable machine learning algorithms, computational systems, data pipelines, and DevOps/MLOps workflows for training and production.
- Customize and deploy deep learning, generative AI, and language models for enterprise use cases, including edge-device and high-performance computing environments.
- Process large-scale datasets, apply preprocessing techniques, and implement model data storage and retrieval mechanisms.
- Monitor, evaluate, audit, and optimize production AI/ML systems, including alerting and automated issue reporting.
- Collaborate with business, technical, client, engineering, architecture, and design teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Lead architectural decisions, provide solutions across teams, manage team activities, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience is required, including experience with Google Cloud Data Services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; 15 years of full-time education is specified, and a related MS or PhD is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying machine learning models in production at scale and applying computer science, computer architecture, systems engineering, and programming principles.
- At least 1 year of experience with distributed computing systems and architecture and at least 1 year of experience building and deploying AI/ML software to a cloud environment.
- Proficiency in Python and Python-based AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience with Python, C++, Java, R, SQL, large language model APIs, large-scale datasets, data preprocessing, distributed computing, and performance tuning.
- Strong neural network architecture, natural language processing, client-facing consulting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
