Responsibilities
- Write and maintain software for network management and monitoring tasks.
- Deploy and audit network device configurations.
- Automate validation and testing procedures.
- Monitor network health and performance through visualization and alerting.
- Integrate network automation solutions into engineering deployment pipelines.
- Drive automation across software development, release, and operations.
- Support Linux-based environments and containerized applications and services.
- Research network automation trends and apply relevant improvements to team efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
- Background in networking, including TCP/IP and IP routing protocols.
- Experience administering Unix-based systems.
- Experience with Arista, Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia network devices and their automation interfaces.
- Proficiency developing systems and automation with Python.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, and OSPF.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Familiarity with Ansible, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse databases.
- Experience with APIs and data formats including JSON and YAML.
- Knowledge of Django, DRF, or FastAPI is a plus.
- Experience with React for internal tools and dashboards is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Flowspec, telemetry, or gNMI is a plus.
- Programming experience with Go is a plus.
- Fluent English and strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
