Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support production software applications.
- Lead technical contributions across product development, including reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, documentation, and technical roadmaps.
- Assist with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring.
- Create and execute functional, destructive, unit, and performance test suites.
- Collaborate with product teams to make user stories developer-ready, understandable, and testable.
- Guide junior engineers on modern software development frameworks and lead technical discussions.
- Identify team capability gaps and suggest changes that improve team productivity.
- Apply debugging, root cause analysis, data modeling, modernization, and high-availability practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Extensive experience with frontend technologies, object-oriented programming, relational or NoSQL databases, cloud computing, software design patterns, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React.js, Python, Django, GraphQL, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Experience with data modeling using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.
- Experience creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.
- Experience with modern debugging, root cause analysis, and version control systems.
- Experience designing systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.
- Exposure to technical roadmaps, work estimation, refactoring, and legacy-system modernization.
