Responsibilities
- Support observability and reliability practices across cloud-native platforms.
- Instrument applications with OpenTelemetry and collect metrics, logs, and traces.
- Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitoring solutions.
- Support incident response and contribute to service reliability improvements.
- Define and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and observability components running on AKS.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Platform teams to improve platform stability and operational excellence.
- Develop scripts and automation to reduce operational effort.
- Contribute to production readiness reviews, runbooks, and reliability documentation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in observability, SRE, DevOps, cloud operations, or platform engineering.
- Knowledge of observability concepts including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and AKS environments.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor and cloud-native monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, and reliability engineering principles.
- Experience supporting production environments and incident management activities.
- Scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
