Base Salary
$75k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for machine control systems.
- Deliver software features, diagnostics, and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve software defects through testing and validation.
- Integrate software solutions with systems, product design, validation, and vehicle engineering teams to support product delivery.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and fundamental embedded software engineering principles.
- Understanding of real-time embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software interactions.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and diagnostics, including CAN/J1939 protocols.
- Ability to debug, test, and resolve software defects using structured problem-solving and software validation practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional engineering work.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
- Hands-on embedded systems development experience is preferred.
- Experience integrating software with hardware, sensors, controllers, or communication networks is preferred.
- Experience with CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth communications is preferred.
- Experience or understanding of source control best practices is preferred.
- Experience with construction technology such as grade control, GNSS, or telematics and familiarity with construction, forestry, or agricultural off-road equipment are preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- A bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
