Responsibilities
- Develop innovative, scalable, reliable, testable, and reusable software solutions for Android devices.
- Contribute across analysis, design, implementation, testing, and the broader software development lifecycle.
- Detect, report, investigate, and fix product defects.
- Write unit and integration tests and apply automation and development best practices.
- Optimize software and maintain high standards for code quality, technical documentation, and deliverables.
- Collaborate on brainstorming, idea generation, and solutions for new projects.
- Stay current with advanced technologies and evolving Android capabilities.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2–3 years of related industry experience in software development environments.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of Android application development experience.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of Java or Kotlin experience.
- Demonstrate strong computer science or mathematics education or background, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Have expert knowledge of Android and Linux operating systems.
- Have expert knowledge of Android development tools including Gradle, Git, and Gerrit.
- Have experience with software architecture, design, and software development best practices.
- Have strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or strong interest in Scrum, XP, Behavior Driven Development, and Continuous Delivery is expected.
- Preferred qualifications include C# and .NET experience, server-client application development, and Linux application development experience.
