Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain .NET software for product-oriented space and defense projects.
- Build applications that interface hardware units with users in collaboration with system engineers and embedded software developers.
- Contribute to software and system architecture design and follow products through the full development lifecycle.
- Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly, maintainable software solutions.
- Work with APIs, message queuing, integration patterns, distributed systems, databases, and communication standards.
- Produce architecture descriptions, API documentation, and other clear technical documentation.
- Support and guide colleagues while contributing to clean code, modern architecture, and problem solving.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with software and system architecture design.
- Experience with component-based architecture, SOLID, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including issue tracking, version control, code reviews, automated builds, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of secure software development principles and technical documentation.
- Experience with some of .NET, C#, WPF, ASP.NET, Blazor, WinForms, Web API, message queuing, RabbitMQ or similar message brokers, SQL Server or PostgreSQL, NoSQL/document databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and Ethernet, USB, or UART.
- Low-level network development experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and detail-oriented skills.
- Norwegian citizenship and eligibility for Norwegian SECRET/NATO SECRET security clearance.
