Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance embedded software for Air Traffic Control and Defense & Security products.
- Analyze existing code and translate NPI project requirements into software changes.
- Contribute to software architecture and propose approaches based on existing or new frameworks.
- Collaborate with software and non-software colleagues to assess product design impacts.
- Identify opportunities for code and design reuse across projects.
- Apply coding best practices and suggest process improvements.
- Represent the software team in product-related project meetings.
- Own follow-up tasks and adapt designs as new insights emerge.
- Ensure reliable and timely software deliveries, including managing the release process.
- Estimate workloads and communicate risks to project milestones.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electronics, ICT, computer sciences, or equivalent.
- A few years of experience in a related field.
- Advanced embedded software development skills, including embedded Linux and Buildroot or Yocto build systems.
- Programming experience with C/C++, Python, Linux shell scripting, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of network technology and experience with SVN and Git.
- Analytical, solution-oriented, collaborative, and communicative approach.
- Good command of English.
