Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and maintain HMI and user-interface applications for embedded platforms.
- Develop maintainable software using C/C++ and sound software design principles.
- Use HMI development frameworks and toolchains such as Rightware Kanzi and Altia.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded software using hardware debuggers and development tools.
- Profile and optimize CPU, GPU, memory usage, startup time, and runtime performance.
- Develop software targeting ARM-based processors and embedded compiler environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HMI applications with the embedded platform.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, debugging, testing, and software integration activities.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong software design and C/C++ programming skills.
- Hands-on experience developing HMI or UI applications for embedded platforms.
- Experience with an HMI framework or toolchain such as Kanzi, Altia, or an equivalent.
- Experience with ARM processors, CPU/GPU architectures, hardware debuggers, and embedded compilers.
- Strong experience troubleshooting embedded software issues.
- Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and memory analysis on embedded systems.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Preferred experience with AUTOSAR architectures, automotive embedded software, multithreaded embedded operating systems such as QNX or another RTOS, and diagnosing CPU, GPU, memory, and application performance issues.
