
Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
- Own deployment, health, and continuous improvement of multi-cloud, multi-region SaaS environments across the US, Europe, and Asia
- Design and evolve cloud architecture for customer availability, stability, and performance
- Shape the infrastructure technical roadmap with engineering leadership
- Own and improve CI/CD infrastructure toward a fully automated software delivery lifecycle
- Build automation tooling and internal systems that reduce operational toil and improve developer velocity
- Define observability standards for metrics, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing
- Identify performance degradation and capacity risks, lead incident response, and drive root cause analysis
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
- Partner with application engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Participate in the on-call rotation and establish scalable on-call practices
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of hands-on DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience owning production cloud environments at scale
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and major cloud providers such as AWS and/or Azure
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers
- Experience managing NoSQL and SQL databases, key/value stores, and messaging systems such as AMQP and MQTT
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools including Prometheus, Mimir, Thanos, and Grafana
- Understanding of SRE practices in a fast-growing SaaS environment
- Experience with infrastructure programming or scripting languages such as Go, TypeScript, Python, or Bash
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- United States citizenship is required
