Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Break down larger projects into tasks and deliver them in multiple phases with support from technical leads and managers.
- Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, and engineering stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and launch scalable APIs and ship web applications.
- Write clear, well-tested, extensible code and navigate large codebases, debug code, and participate in code reviews.
- Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and support on-call and keep-the-lights-on activities.
- Participate in team growth and development activities, including interviewing.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Python or Kotlin.
- Ability to translate business scenarios into solutions spanning multiple software components.
- Strong debugging, code review, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
