Base Salary
$169k - $305k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, resilient, highly available cloud and data architectures.
- Evaluate cloud technologies for new platform capabilities and services.
- Design replicated, clustered, and geographically distributed database architectures.
- Build prototypes, proofs of concept, and reference implementations to validate scalability and security.
- Convert successful prototypes into repeatable architecture patterns and production-ready designs.
- Provide technical direction, coach engineers, clarify requirements, and drive execution with product and SRE partners.
- Develop reusable infrastructure with Terraform modules, templates, and deployment patterns.
- Create scripts and automation using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
Requirements
- 12 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, another related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise developing reusable infrastructure with Terraform modules, templates, and deployment patterns.
- Ability to develop scripts and automation using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
- Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with in-memory and key-value technologies such as Redis and Valkey.
- Understanding of distributed data systems designed for horizontal scalability and high availability.
