Responsibilities
- Guide application teams on architectural and design decisions, technology selection, and best practices.
- Lead architecture reviews and design assessments across application, integration, data, and platform domains.
- Develop architectural roadmaps covering business priorities, technical debt reduction, modernization, and cloud adoption.
- Provide technical consultation, research, technology evaluations, risk assessments, and hands-on support for priority projects.
- Present technical strategies, architecture recommendations, risks, and trade-offs to technology and business leaders.
- Collaborate with SRE, ET API Services, ET CIAM, and other partner organizations on shared platforms, services, and standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve application quality, security, performance, resiliency, developer productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Promote architectural consistency, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, AI-assisted development, and automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a web application software developer or engineer.
- 5+ years of experience as a team technical lead or software architect.
- Strong expertise in web-based application architecture, cloud-native technologies, data architecture concepts, and distributed systems.
- Experience supporting cloud-native applications and understanding application security, identity management, and secure-by-design principles.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development and architecture practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions through collaboration and data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, adapt quickly, self-motivate, and collaborate professionally across teams.
