Base Salary

$92k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test physics-based real-time engineering simulations for mission-level Operator-In-The-Loop environments.
  • Develop software components modeling sensor and payload operations and advanced electronic warfare effects.
  • Conduct computer-simulation trade studies to compare architectures and recommend software and system design alternatives.
  • Develop graphical user interfaces and visualization tools for operator interaction and mission analysis.
  • Model system behavior in real-time and constructive simulations using robust, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Perform software builds, installations, smoke tests, and automated or continuous integration testing.
  • Debug complex software issues, optimize performance, and improve simulation capabilities based on testing and user feedback.
  • Demonstrate integrated software capabilities to leadership and customers and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams to define requirements, design interfaces, and deliver integrated mission-simulation solutions.

Requirements

  • Systems Engineer level requires a BS in a STEM discipline and 2 years of experience, or an MS in a STEM discipline.
  • Principal Systems Engineer level requires a BS and 5 years of experience, an MS and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience in a STEM discipline.
  • Experience using C#, C++, Java, or another object-oriented programming language is required.
  • Experience in software debugging, software development, modeling and simulation of defense platforms or systems, electronic warfare, or red and/or blue CONOPs and TTPs is required.
  • An active US Government Secret clearance is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include SAP or DoD Top Secret SCI clearance, C# and Java development, physics-based modeling, software integration, rapid prototyping, real-time 3D visualization, AFSIM or MACE, CompTIA Security+ certification, military experience, version-control tools, and project or analysis lead experience.
