Responsibilities
- Develop web-based applications and websites according to client specifications.
- Program custom website functionality and user interfaces using web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and JSON.
- Support, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications in consultation with colleagues and service users.
- Implement and use content management systems to deliver public websites.
- Ensure websites follow state accessibility laws and usability best practices.
- Gather requirements, analyze processes and communications goals, and help streamline services.
- Participate in estimation, development, testing, deployment, design, and code review activities.
- Monitor project progress, write reports and documentation, and keep website owners informed of IT issues and changes.
- Collaborate with campus departments, IT management, project teams, and outside vendors.
- Research technologies that may improve websites and hosted applications.
