Responsibilities
- Build new system capabilities for strategic Alexa Shopping initiatives.
- Design, manage, and own technologies supporting Alexa Shopping programs.
- Define product features, drive system architecture, and establish best practices for high-quality products.
- Design and launch customer-facing, high-volume applications.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to design principles and design patterns.
- Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
