Base Salary

$116k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cross-platform GUI application software for professional audio products.
  • Prototype and develop applications using Angular and related frontend technologies.
  • Integrate and test networking communication protocols and proprietary embedded-system software.
  • Participate in software architecture, design, coding, integration, test planning, and software development lifecycle activities.
  • Define application use cases and requirements with marketing, test, system engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Research and adopt new application technologies and integrated development environments.
  • Review peer code, ensure software quality, estimate and document tasks, and organize work.
  • Mentor lower-level software engineers on technical practices, modularization, estimation, and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive application development experience with successfully delivered projects.
  • Hands-on expertise with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, Node.js native addons, WebSockets, and full software development lifecycle management.
  • Experience with AngularJS, Angular Material, GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions.
  • Proficiency with Git and tools including Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and SVN.
  • Understanding of design patterns, application architecture, SOLID principles, and unit testing with Jasmine or Jest.
  • Experience using Visual Studio Code and frameworks such as NRWL.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, project execution, mentoring junior team members, and working with distributed stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
