Responsibilities
- Own the security architecture, guardrails, and automation patterns.
- Evolve Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities.
- Engineer and maintain cloud network security controls.
- Define and enforce security best practices for Kubernetes environments.
- Partner with engineering teams on architecture reviews.
- Engineer and maintain identity and access security controls.
- Apply a security lens to FinOps for cost optimization.
- Develop tooling, automation, and self-service workflows.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and enhance organizational security maturity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in cloud security or related roles.
- Deep hands-on security experience in Azure or AWS.
- Experience securing production AKS/EKS environments.
- Proven experience with cloud network security.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture.
- Experience with preventative security controls.
- Cloud automation experience using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Ability to operate independently and deliver scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills for architecture-level guidance.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
