Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
- Create and manage automotive diagnostic data content and develop or optimize database schemas and data models using SQL, XML, and JSON.
- Collaborate with customers and overseas vendors on software development projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work with diagnostic protocols such as UDS, KWP, and DoIP where applicable, and contribute to ODX and OTX-related standards and tools.
- Communicate in Japanese and participate in English communication and training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in software development involving design, implementation, and testing in Java full-stack web development.
- Strong Java programming and database skills.
- Solid understanding of JSON file handling and data manipulation.
- Good English communication skills and confidence working with foreign colleagues.
- Experience with automotive diagnostic data content, database or data modeling using SQL, XML, or JSON, customer/vendor communication, or Japanese communication skills is advantageous but not mandatory.
