Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, mentors, stakeholders, product owners, and architects to develop scalable, reliable, and high-performing software.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software features and applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested, and documented code following engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, automated testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and support effective solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog discussions, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Continuously build technical knowledge and adapt to new tools, technologies, and software development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
- Software development experience through academic projects, internships, or personal projects, independently and in teams.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java.
- Interest in learning Scala and functional programming concepts.
- Understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, system design fundamentals, scalability, integration, security, reliability, and testing practices.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of relational database management systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Exposure to automated testing and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing requirements, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, and work in a fast-paced environment.
