Base Salary
$113k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end software and systems from initial vision through production-ready implementation.
- Build and maintain web-based server applications and algorithms that interface with relational databases.
- Create understandable data visualizations, including cascading, time-shifting, dynamic, and drill-down visualizations.
- Develop data models involving normalization and metrics.
- Explore visualization techniques and their application to networks.
- Create static presentations and static web pages.
- Lead small cross-functional teams and help team members learn new tools and techniques.
- Identify system improvements and ensure solutions account for current architecture, operating environments, and future enhancements.
- Help clients address complex challenges using modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Experience developing software with Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience creating data visualizations and applying visualization techniques to networks.
- Experience with data modeling, data normalization, and metrics.
- Experience developing and maintaining web-based server applications and interfacing with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience leading small cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of agile team development.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science field and 14+ years of software engineering experience in a Linux environment, or 18+ years of such experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with monorepo architecture and tooling is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, collaborative environments and balance long- and short-term taskings.
