Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Chrome Desktop features primarily in C++ and web technologies, including contributions to the open-source Chromium project.
- Implement new Chrome Desktop functionality collaboratively with the team.
- Write high-quality code meeting Chrome standards for performance and reliability.
- Partner with UX experts to refine feature designs and create seamless interactions.
- Run experiments and analyze results to support data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience programming in C++.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with web or desktop application development, full-stack development, accessible technologies, open source projects, and web browsers.
