Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design and implement new features.
- Improve code quality, tool stability, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop and execute necessary tests as part of development.
- Review code, promote development best practices, and mentor team members.
- Develop associates’ competencies in core and advanced technical areas.
- Handle delivery and configuration management activities.
- Participate in Scrum planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
- Support teams in using features available in the development environment.
- Interact with other development functions to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Working experience in Eclipse plugin development, EMF, RCP, Xtext, and Xtend.
- Experience with client/server architecture and web applications.
- Experience with Jenkins, CI, CT, JIRA, Git, and ALM-RTC.
- Overview of static code analysis tools.
- Excellent core Java skills and strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Knowledge of OOAD, XML, XML parsing, and JUnit.
- Solid coding practices, including coding standards and unit testing.
- Bachelor of Engineering qualification.
- Strong analytical, design, communication, ownership, and independent execution skills.
