
DevOps Engineer
Remote PeopleResponsibilities
- Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of the SaaS platform across environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and self-service build, test, and release processes.
- Use Infrastructure as Code to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Implement and improve observability tooling for metrics, logs, and traces.
- Monitor platform capacity and performance and proactively forecast resource needs.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and preventive follow-up.
- Support engineering squads in integrating services with the platform infrastructure.
- Use AI tools to accelerate automation scripting and infrastructure work while validating generated output.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration Management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Clear written communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI tools for infrastructure automation and disciplined validation workflows.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure automation tools.
- Preferred: experience working on a SaaS platform or public software product.
- Preferred: understanding of security best practices in a DevOps environment.
