Responsibilities
- Develop software skills by crafting and debugging example code and utility scripts.
- Work with a mentor on a software project involving computer architecture from a software perspective.
- Address real-world issues Arm partners face when developing and optimizing software for Arm platforms.
- Give a short technical presentation covering project output, obstacles, solutions, and future exploration areas.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and studying toward a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Alternative degrees may be considered with computer architecture and embedded programming experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Understanding of processor architecture, microarchitecture, and memory systems.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell environments.
- Working knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with cross-compilation toolchains such as GCC and Makefile structures.
- Familiarity with assembly or Python is a plus.
