Responsibilities

Design and implement web applications, backend services, and REST APIs.
Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces that communicate application data and system status.
Implement authentication, role-based access, secure data handling, database transactions, audit trails, and external-system integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to clarify requirements and deliver software solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain backlog items.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
Support application deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release readiness.
Provide work updates and prepare technical documentation and user guides.

Proficiency in a backend programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or a comparable language.
Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework.
Experience developing REST APIs and working with relational databases, SQL, and transactional data processing.
Working knowledge of application security, token-based authentication, and authorization.
Familiarity with automated testing, Git, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Understanding of software design principles, the software development lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
Strong business communication, presentation, organizational, ownership, and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications include cloud platforms, containerized applications, infrastructure as code, enterprise identity providers, secure system integrations, event-driven systems, concurrency controls, caching, error recovery, accessibility standards, performance testing, application monitoring, and operational-industry experience.
