Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a cell primitive for Roblox's backend compute workload.
- Collaborate with teams to develop new features and support new workloads.
- Define cross-system APIs as the footprint of cells expands.
- Manage a critical at-scale system safely and reliably.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in the Kubernetes ecosystem, preferably with building operators or distributions.
- Strong proficiency in Go or other structured programming languages.
- Interest in working on large-scale, cross-platform distributed systems.
- Preference for building systems automation over repetitive tasks.
- Appreciation for observability and reliability in sustainable systems.
