Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise geospatial architectures and visualization solutions.
- Develop GIS applications and mapping services supporting operational missions.
- Integrate geospatial data into cloud-based applications and dashboards.
- Develop spatial analysis and geospatial intelligence capabilities.
- Support remote sensing, imagery exploitation, and location-based analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, and mission stakeholders.
- Implement geospatial AI/ML solutions where applicable.
- Develop technical roadmaps and architecture recommendations.
- Ensure interoperability between geospatial systems and enterprise platforms.
- Document geospatial architectures, standards, and implementation guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, GIS, or related field.
- Five years of equivalent professional experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Demonstrated experience developing GIS solutions using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or comparable platforms.
- Experience integrating geospatial data into cloud-based applications.
- Experience with spatial analysis and geospatial data processing.
- Experience with mapping services, web GIS technologies, and geospatial databases.
- Experience supporting enterprise geospatial architectures.
