Base Salary
$172k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the platform vision, roadmap, and incremental development strategy for data-labeling engineering.
- Own technical projects end-to-end, including problem framing, design, implementation, code reviews, technical decisions, and rollout.
- Build scalable full-stack user experiences, services, APIs, workflows, dashboards, automation, and quality tooling for data labeling.
- Develop ML-driven annotation capabilities including pre-labeling, autolabeling, and active-learning loops.
- Collaborate with ML Engineering, Operations, Product, Data Science, and platform teams to meet quality, cost, latency, and reliability goals.
- Use and advocate for AI-assisted engineering workflows such as code assistance, documentation generation, and test generation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building robust distributed platforms and applications.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for agentic workflows, knowledge acquisition, documentation generation, operational triage, debugging, and delivery.
- Proficiency writing and reviewing scalable, performant full-stack code using technologies such as Python, TypeScript, Go, React, SQL, Redux, gRPC, GraphQL, and WebGL.
- Strong understanding of scalable software system design, data modeling, and API/interface design.
- Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, test-driven development, code quality, observability, and CI/CD.
- Preferred experience collaborating with customers, product managers, designers, or user-experience researchers.
- Preferred experience with computer vision, machine learning, data-centric AI, data annotation, autolabeling, labeling platforms, A/B testing, telemetry, observability, or data-intensive and visualization-heavy applications.
