Responsibilities
- Lead projects and coordinate interfaces with international design teams and functional contacts across locations.
- Contribute to project requirements, plans, and schedules.
- Develop detailed software design documentation and embedded software in C/C++.
- Implement control functions, communication protocols, drivers, LCD interfaces, and web-page interfaces.
- Conduct software peer reviews and code reviews.
- Recommend plans to improve software quality and identify and correct embedded software issues such as race conditions and re-entrancy problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level education in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3–4 years of experience in embedded software development in a Linux environment.
- Required experience with C, C++, real-time operating systems, application development, driver interfacing, RS-485, Modbus, CANOpen, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, and well-structured embedded code and review code for quality.
- Preferred experience with OpenBMC, Redfish APIs, CGI, JSON, HTML, Ajax, jQuery, power-domain applications, and web/CGI applications.
- CMMI process knowledge is preferred.
- Effective written and spoken English communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
