Responsibilities
- Build and execute automated component, API, E2E, UI, and backend tests.
- Develop test strategies, comprehensive AI-enhanced test plans, and automated test scripts.
- Perform REST API, contract, mock-server, API security, and performance testing.
- Use Robot Framework, Selenium, Perl, Python, Shell, and related tools for test automation.
- Coordinate testing activities, estimate and prioritize work, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support QA reviews, software development activities, training, knowledge sharing, and client meetings.
- Research and evaluate new testing and AI-based tools.
- Mentor junior team members in technical, client-facing, and AI-assisted QA practices.
- Verify backend systems using SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Linux, networking, and container technologies.
Requirements
- Python experience for component testing.
- OpenAPI Specification/Swagger experience.
- REST API testing experience, including mock API servers, contracts and API testing, API security, and performance testing.
- Robot Framework experience, including Robot Language, test execution, and reporting.
- Perl experience for Heimdall TAF and Shell experience for Heimdall TAF and standalone scripts.
- Selenium experience, preferably using Perl modules, for UI automation.
- Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions experience for code check-ins and CI pipelines.
- Jenkins/CD experience.
- SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis experience for backend verification.
- Linux experience with backend test automation, SSH and CLI automation, processes, resource consumption, and service control.
- Networking and security knowledge covering firewalls, interfaces and configurations, TCP/IP, TLS, and malware.
- Container experience with CRUN, Containerd, and Docker.
