Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop QoS and firmware algorithms for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide hardware-aware technical guidance for core firmware development and maintainable code design.
- Collaborate with architecture and software design teams.
- Implement new features in NVIDIA NIC firmware in pre- and post-silicon environments.
- Develop verification tests for advanced features in a complex firmware testing environment.
- Debug systems and develop expertise in networking technology, network stacks, and hardware/firmware/software interactions.
- Provide technical leadership and make key decisions for complex firmware projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Proven technical leadership experience and experience making key decisions for complex firmware projects.
- Proficiency in C and embedded systems programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to complex technical issues.
- Preferred knowledge of network protocols and real-time programming.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational functions and communicate technical action plans clearly.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
