Base Salary

$95k - $100k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the principal technical counterpart and secondary escalation point to the HCM Integration Manager.
  • Provide technical leadership for HCM integrations involving benefits, payroll, retirement, equity, identity, employee data, and third-party enterprise systems.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews and oversee development, code quality, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support for HCM and OIC solutions.
  • Build operational redundancy through documentation, runbooks, cross-training, knowledge transfer, succession planning, and primary/secondary ownership models.
  • Partner with management, business stakeholders, internal functions, and external vendors on roadmap planning, prioritization, architecture, resource allocation, vendor management, and delivery.
  • Mentor engineers and establish consistent engineering, release-management, monitoring, escalation, and incident-management practices.
  • Support production incidents through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, escalation management, recovery procedures, and preventive measures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise application engineering, HCM technology, integrations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience as a Lead, Principal, or Staff Engineer leading complex technical architecture and engineering best practices.
  • Significant hands-on experience with enterprise HCM platforms and integrations in complex, large-scale environments.
  • Strong experience integrating HCM platforms with third-party benefits, payroll, retirement, equity, identity, and employee-data providers.
  • Deep experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, OIC, Oracle HCM APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, HCM integration templates, fast formulas, value sets, Visual Builder Studio, HCM security models, roles, areas of responsibility, workflows, notifications, and approvals.
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, middleware or iPaaS, SFTP and file-based integrations, batch processing, and event-driven integrations.
  • Experience across the software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, code review, testing, deployment, monitoring, production support, change management, source control, automated testing, observability, documentation, and release management.
  • Experience supporting business-critical production systems and establishing on-call rotations, SLAs/SLOs, monitoring, escalation frameworks, and incident-management processes.
  • Experience partnering with HR/HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, Security, Enterprise Technology, vendors, and geographically distributed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
  • Experience with major HCM implementations, migrations, transformations, modernization, SOX-controlled environments, large integration portfolios, and Jira-based SDLC and backlog management is preferred or additionally valued.
