Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and code-based configuration.
- Improve the speed, reliability, and usability of Spacelift workflows for engineering teams.
- Migrate production services into a modern AWS multi-account architecture.
- Implement and test infrastructure resilience for disaster recovery and compliance readiness.
- Refactor infrastructure code into modular, reusable components.
- Support engineering teams with cloud infrastructure troubleshooting and vendor integrations.
- Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure development and identify automation opportunities while maintaining security, correctness, and reliability.
- Participate in an internal engineering support on-call rotation and automate recurring operational issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, platform, or site reliability engineering.
- Deep production-level AWS expertise across compute, networking, identity, and security primitives.
- Mastery of Infrastructure as Code, including module design, state management, and scalable patterns for large teams; Terraform/OpenTofu is strongly preferred.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, organizational unit design, SCPs/RCPs, and federated identity through IAM Identity Center or equivalent SSO.
- Hands-on experience with a managed Infrastructure as Code orchestration platform such as Spacelift or Terraform Cloud.
- Experience operating production infrastructure for a customer-facing SaaS platform, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response.
- Demonstrated ability to drive multi-quarter infrastructure initiatives to completion with minimal direction.
- Experience operating Terraform/OpenTofu at large scale, including workspaces or state files, module registries, versioning, drift detection, remediation, and policy-as-code enforcement is a bonus.
- Experience in compliance-regulated environments such as SOC 2, PCI, or NIST is a bonus.
- Solid cloud networking knowledge covering VPC design, IP address management, DNS, egress control, and centralized traffic inspection is a bonus.
