Responsibilities
- Design and drive implementation of service-based solutions across Xbox Commerce and partner teams.
- Develop and maintain high-scale, high-availability backend services for publisher-facing experiences.
- Collaborate with experts across geographic and organizational boundaries.
- Work with large-scale systems and Microsoft technologies while following modern engineering practices and participating in code reviews.
- Manage technical tasks, governance activities, documentation, automated testing, integration validation, and quality assurance.
- Write unit and integration tests and update continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Use agentic workflows and AI tools to enhance day-to-day productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 5+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Strong design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience shipping high-quality products and services.
- Familiarity with Azure, web services, multi-tiered client/server distributed applications, and cross-device testing.
