Responsibilities
- Develop backend software and middleware solutions for Apple’s global sales, operations, and supply chain systems.
- Implement cloud-based distributed systems and APIs using technologies such as REST, RPC, and GraphQL.
- Work with Java, middleware platforms, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Build, test, deploy, and release containerized applications on cloud-based Kubernetes platforms.
- Create testable, maintainable, and extensible backend code using software design patterns and testing frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional work experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing cloud-based distributed systems and APIs.
- At least 2 years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with middleware technologies such as Software AG webMethods, SAP BTP CPI, or MuleSoft.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes-based cloud deployments, Java web frameworks, unit testing frameworks, tooling languages, distributed orchestration and computing systems, JVM internals, and networking concepts.
