Responsibilities
- Formulate specifications for complex operating-system software programming applications.
- Modify and maintain existing enterprise applications using engineering releases and vendor utilities.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software programs.
- Maintain operating-system functions, including sophisticated file-maintenance routines and computer accounting.
- Support and manage large telecommunications networks and advanced mathematical and scientific software packages.
- Assist with all phases of software systems programming applications.
- Evaluate new and existing software products.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in complex operating systems and software programming.
- Hands-on experience using engineering releases and vendor utilities to maintain or modify enterprise applications.
- Practical experience supporting and maintaining large-scale telecommunications networks.
- Experience working with and maintaining advanced mathematical and scientific software packages.
- A Secret clearance is preferred.
