Responsibilities
- Design and build large-scale distributed applications using serverless technologies, data lakes, and NoSQL databases.
- Automate complex infrastructure supply chain processes supporting AWS growth and customer demand.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate scaling requirements into designs addressing performance, security, and maintainability.
- Write documented, maintainable code throughout requirements gathering, development, deployment, and operations.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and system architecture training.
- Diagnose operational issues and implement permanent fixes through monitoring and automation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 2 years of experience building complex software systems.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
