Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build application experiences.
- Implement custom user interfaces using current programming techniques and technologies.
- Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide peer feedback through code reviews.
- Set team direction, lead major initiatives, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and onboard new team members.
- Architect efficient, scalable systems and resolve performance and scalability issues.
- Drive efforts to reduce technical debt and maintain end-to-end ownership of components, features, or systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience using data and analysis to explain technical problems and provide detailed feedback and solutions.
- Experience driving organizational change and leading complex technical projects.
- Programming experience in a relevant language.
- Preferred experience with NLP techniques including text preprocessing, tokenization, and sentiment analysis.
- Preferred experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Preferred experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
- Preferred ongoing AI skill development in prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and emerging AI technologies.
- Preferred ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and produce measurable impact.
- Preferred master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Understanding of information retrieval concepts such as indexing, querying, and ranking.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms, including graph theory and optimization techniques.
