Base Salary
$100k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing deployment pipelines and deployment automation for efficient software releases.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions for system performance and reliability.
- Support local development environments and improve developer workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with project requirements.
- Assist with infrastructure security measures, audits, and automation tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to minimize downtime.
- Evaluate and integrate technologies that improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least four years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Software development experience, preferably at a venture-backed startup or top technology firm.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with GitLab or similar tools.
- Proficiency with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring and observability tools, infrastructure-as-code tools, and databases.
- Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, CloudFormation, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and application security best practices and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, self-motivation, and continuous-improvement skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports federal business.
