Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks for frontend, backend, REST API, and AWS services.
Define and improve testing standards, best practices, automation patterns, coding standards, and quality strategy.
Develop test scenarios and automation suites, prepare test data, and integrate testing into CI/CD.
Execute functional, load, scalability, and security testing and report test results and defects.
Lead technical investigations and improvements for test stability, execution speed, reliability, performance, and scalability.
Refine acceptance criteria, build test strategies, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with product, development, architecture, cybersecurity, DevOps, and agile teams.
Conduct code reviews, test plan reviews, and technical workshops.
Mentor and coach test engineers, developers, and cross-functional partners on automation and quality practices.

At least 5 years of experience in test automation.
Deep hands-on expertise with modern test automation frameworks based on Playwright or Cypress.
Strong coding skills, preferably in TypeScript or Python, with the ability to apply object-oriented programming principles.
Strong understanding and experience testing REST APIs.
Proficiency with Git and branching and versioning strategies.
Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting complex issues across the stack; AWS experience is preferred.
Ability to design effective tests that mimic realistic end-user scenarios.
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English and understanding of agile methodology.
Preferred: leadership and mentoring experience, Docker, database automation testing, microservices, cloud-native architecture, JMeter, k6, AI/ML fundamentals, AI-powered testing, self-healing test tools, or GenAI-assisted QA workflows.
